Hyderabad, May 17: Chief Minister KCR recently held a comprehensive meeting with BRS party members, focusing on the upcoming elections. During the meeting, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of some MLAs and provided instructions to rectify the situation before the elections. KCR emphasized the need for MLAs to engage directly with the people and avoid superficial campaigns. He particularly highlighted concerns regarding certain MLAs in Hyderabad and Nalgonda districts. KCR made it clear that if their attitude and performance do not improve, they will not receive party tickets.

KCR urged MLAs to prioritize the promotion of government schemes and instructed them to spend 21 days per month in their respective constituencies. The latest survey suggests that BRS is likely to secure 103 seats. In light of this, KCR emphasized the importance of unity among MLAs, urging them to set aside differences and criticisms. He emphasized the need for ground-level work, especially as spiritual gatherings in Hyderabad did not yield the expected results.
With the upcoming elections, KCR aims to secure victory and achieve a hat-trick in power. While several surveys have been conducted, there are rumors of potential changes within the party to counter natural opposition after two terms in government. Approximately 25 sitting MLAs may be sidelined, which has caused unrest among ruling party members. Additionally, group politics and power struggles within the brs party have become a new concern across all constituencies in Telangana. Internal conflicts within the party have led to claims from various individuals regarding ticket allocations, further exacerbating the situation.

KCR has consistently warned about the difficulty of granting tickets to underperforming MLAs. It is now rumored that discussions have taken place within BRS regarding potential replacement candidates. There is speculation that priority may be given to individuals who have demonstrated long-standing commitment to the party, provided financial support, or maintain close ties with KCR’s family. Furthermore, there are considerations for MLCs and those who have actively worked for the party.
