23 crore revenue in one day on 18th

APSRTC recorded record revenue like never before. On the 18th of this month, it earned Rs.23 crores in a single day and set a record as the highest earning day in the current financial year. RTC expressed special thanks to the passengers who were the main reason for this. Record revenue is usuallyrecorded during Sankranti season every year. But this year’s achievement is special because the ticket rates have not been hiked by an additional 50 percent as compared to previous years. All these special buses were run with normal fares due to the great popularity of the passengers. This is a proof that passengers will appreciate running special buses with regular fares. This Sankranti, travelers have opted for APSRTC buses to reduce their travel cost burden. RTC is preferred over other private vehicles and own vehicles. Whereas during this Sankranti, cargo also recorded a higher average revenue per day. It earned Rs.55 lakhs in one day. Earlier, the record was Rs 45 lakhs in a day’s income. Overcame it. RTC has been able to achieve a record level of revenue by making buses available to passengers in advance, providing all the necessary infrastructure for maintenance, efficient management and regular monitoring of buses, arranging buses according to passenger traffic. RTC has achieved this feat on this special occasion of Sankranthi due to the dedication and hard work of the staff of the organization especially the drivers and conductors. Moreover, the cooperation of the authorities in supervision is also commendable. A.P.S.R.T.C has shown the appreciation of passengers towards cargo and special services. Unforgettable.
