Andhra Boy Scores Perfect 720/720

Hyderabad, June 14: Bora Varun Chakravarti, a student from Andhra Pradesh, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing a perfect score of 720 out of 720 marks in the NEET (UG) 2023 examination. His outstanding performance has earned him the top rank, along with J. Prabanjan from Tamil Nadu, who also scored a perfect 720. Both students, with a percentile of 99.9999019, have clinched the first position.

Varun Chakravarti’s achievement is further elevated as he is the national topper from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, as declared by the National Testing Agency.

Additionally, K. G. Raghu Rama Reddy from Telangana has secured the 15th rank in the general category, with an impressive score of 715.

The Telugu states have witnessed an impressive display of talent, with several students securing top ranks.

Among the top 20 female toppers, three students from Andhra Pradesh and three from Telangana have made their mark. Similarly, one student from each of the Telugu states has been included in the list of top 20 male toppers.

Kani Yasari, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, has secured the second rank in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, achieving an all-India rank of 40th with a score of 710.

Y. L. Pravadhan Reddy from Andhra Pradesh has emerged as the topper in the General-Economically Weaker Section (General-EWS) category. He has secured the 25th all-India rank, with a score of 711.

In the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, Andhra Pradesh’s M. Jyotilal Chavan has attained the top position, scoring 705 marks and achieving an all-India rank of 119th. Telangana’s L. Madhu Balaji stands as the third topper in this category.

Furthermore, V. Harshil Sai from Andhra Pradesh has secured the 39th rank in the general category, scoring 710 marks. Kavalakuntla Pranathi Reddy, also from Andhra Pradesh, has attained the 45th rank, with the same score of 710. Jagruthi Bodeddula from Telangana has secured the 49th all-India rank in the general category.

In terms of qualification, 42,836 students from Andhra Pradesh have cleared the examination out of a total of 68,578 who appeared for it. Similarly, 42,654 students from Telangana have qualified, out of the 72,842 who had written the exam.

These outstanding results in the NEET examination highlight the exemplary performance of students from the Telugu states, showcasing their dedication and academic prowess.
