In a tragic incident in Wembley, a woman has been fatally stabbed and another woman injured during a double stabbing. The incident took place on Neeld Crescent in north west London, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
At approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday, police officers were called to the scene where they discovered two women suffering from multiple knife injuries. Sadly, the 27-year-old victim (Kontham tejaswini Reddy native of Telangana, India) succumbed to her wounds at the scene, while the second woman, aged 28, was swiftly transported to the hospital. Fortunately, her injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

Shortly after the incident, a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. Their apprehension took place at the scene of the crime. In addition, a 23-year-old man was arrested at 6 p.m. in Harrow after the police launched an appeal to locate him. He has also been taken into custody at a north London police station on suspicion of murder.
While the two male suspects remain in custody, the arrested woman has been released without further action. The investigation into the stabbing commenced following reports of the incident at a residential property.
On the same day, a third person, a 23-year-old man, was apprehended in Harrow. He had been publicly named by officers and was arrested on suspicion of murder. He is currently being held at a north London police station.
The stabbing incident has left the local community in shock and mourning. The authorities are working diligently to gather evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. The deceased victim’s next of kin are yet to be informed.
