New Delhi, July 3rd, 2023 – Kia India, the premium and rapidly growing car manufacturer in India, has announced that the highly anticipated New Seltos will be unveiled on July 4th. The upcoming Seltos will showcase a refreshed design and a range of enhanced, industry-leading features. With its initial launch, the Seltos revolutionized the automobile industry with its groundbreaking design and segment-leading features. Now, the new Seltos is poised to redefine the segment once again. Kia had earlier released a teaser of the new Seltos on June 30th, 2023.
Since its entry into the Indian market in August 2019, Kia made a significant impact with the launch of the Seltos, captivating the hearts of the country’s discerning consumers. Within an astonishingly short span of just 46 months, the Seltos became the fastest-selling SUV to surpass the 500,000 sales milestone. Currently, there are 378,000 Seltos vehicles traversing the roads of India, constituting 53% of Kia India’s total domestic sales volume. Moreover, the company has successfully exported nearly 139,000 units of the Seltos to nearly 90 global markets.
The various milestones achieved by the Seltos brand have solidified Kia’s position as one of India’s top five automobile manufacturers for the past four years. Notably, in 2021, the Seltos became the first car in its segment to introduce six airbags in the Indian market.
