Union Home Minister Amit Shah Asserts BJP’s Independence from BRS and MIM in Telangana

Khammam (Telangana), Aug 27 – Union Home Minister Amit Shah, during a public meeting in Khammam, ruled out any alliance with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) and alleged that the Congress party is the one with a secret understanding with the BRS.

Amit Shah criticized Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for family rule in Telangana and expressed confidence that the BJP would form the government in the state with an absolute majority.

He reiterated his criticism of KCR for his association with MIM and stated that the BRS’s poll symbol, the car, is under the control of Owaisi.

Shah stated that KCR is on the way out, emphasizing his confidence in the BJP’s victory in Telangana. In response to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s allegations of an understanding between the BRS and BJP, Amit Shah stated that the BJP would never align with either the BRS or MIM and would not even share a platform with MIM.

Amit Shah alleged that KCR is using repressive measures against BJP leaders as he believes they will not raise their voices against him. He also declared that neither KCR nor his son KTR would become the Chief Minister; the next Chief Minister would be from the BJP.

He characterized the Congress, BRS, and MIM as family parties, with Congress being a “4G party,” the BRS a “2G party,” and MIM a “3G party,” and stated that none of them would come to power in Telangana.

Amit Shah criticized the KCR government for being anti-farmer, anti-Dalit, anti-women, and anti-youth, urging people to vote for the BJP.

He accused KCR of failing to fulfill promises such as providing houses for the poor and unemployment allowances. Shah also targeted KCR for his association with Owaisi, stating that Owaisi had shattered the dreams of Telangana’s freedom fighters.

Amit Shah highlighted the Modi government’s contributions to Telangana, including building toilets for the poor, supplying foodgrains to millions, distributing gas cylinders to women, and constructing houses for the underprivileged.

He also discussed the Modi government’s efforts to support farmers and promote agricultural development.

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture and State BJP President G. Kishan Reddy, along with other BJP leaders, also addressed the public meeting.
