Retired Lt Gen Anil Bhatt Assumes Chairmanship of Board of Governors at IIIT Kota

Former Military Secretary of the Indian Army, Lt Gen Anil Bhatt (Retd), has been designated as the Chairperson of the Board of Governors (BoG) at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota, Rajasthan. The appointment, effective from August 25, 2023, for a three-year tenure, was made by President Droupadi Murmu.
Lt Gen Anil Bhatt brings with him a distinguished career, having served as the Director General of Military Operations during the critical Doklam crisis with China. He also led the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps. Presently, he holds the position of Director General at the Indian Space Association, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the nation’s space-related industry and cutting-edge technologies.
