
Honorable Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatraya, Graces 56th Vardanthi Commemoration of Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, First Chief Minister of Hyderabad State
Hyderabad, September 14, 2023 – The 56th Vardanthi (Remembrance Day) of the late Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, the inaugural Chief Minister of Hyderabad State, was celebrated with grandeur and respect. The event was organized by the Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Foundation Committee and took place at the Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao Statue, opposite the GHMC Office in Tankbund, Hyderabad.
Honorable Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatraya, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding prestige to the event. Distinguished guests included Konda Vishveshwar Reddy, former Member of Parliament, K. Ramachandra Murthy, a veteran journalist, Busani Venkateshwar Rao, retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Burugula Laxman Narayan Rao, the son of Late Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, along with J.B. Babu Rao and other prominent dignitaries.

The commemoration event paid tribute to the legacy of Dr. Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, who played a pivotal role in the early years of Hyderabad State’s formation. It was a momentous occasion that celebrated his contributions to the state’s history and governance.
