Jaipur, October 3: A scene reminiscent of the popular web series ‘Money Heist’ unfolded on the streets of Jaipur as a young man standing atop a car tossed currency notes into the air.

While actor Anil Kapoor’s character burned cash in reel life, in this real-life scenario, the young man was flinging cash notes into the crowd, leading to a spontaneous frenzy of people grabbing the money.

The incident, captured on video, has quickly gone viral on social media and is gaining widespread attention.

Wearing a mask to conceal his identity, the man was seen showering money on people in front of a mall, causing a traffic jam as people scrambled to collect the flying cash.

Interestingly, police officials only arrived at the scene after the video had already gone viral.

For about 20 minutes, the young man continued to throw Rs 20 denomination notes into the air at regular intervals, with onlookers recording the spectacle on their mobile phones. Surprisingly, no police personnel stationed at the nearby GT Market made any attempt to approach or identify the youth.

Eventually, the young man left the scene in his car.

According to DCP East Gyanchand Yadav, the SHO of Jawahar Circle has been instructed to investigate the video. Using the car’s registration number, the police traced the youth to his residence and arrested him for disturbing the peace.

Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
