Government of Telangana Relieves Singareni CMD N. Sridhar; N. Balram Assumes Charge

In a recent development, the tenure of IAS officer N. Sridhar, Chairman & Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), Hyderabad, is set to conclude on 31.12.2023, as per G.O.Rt.No.1704 dated 31.12.2023. Following this, N. Sridhar, IAS (1997), has been directed to report to the General Administration Department.
The 1997 batch IAS officer, Sridhar served as CMD of SCCL for nine years; he was appointed to the post in January 01st, 2015 – a few months after formation of the State – and continued as the SCCL CMD till end of the previous year.
Taking charge in the interim is N. Balram, IRS, who holds the positions of Director (Finance) and (PA & W) at SCCL. He assumes full additional responsibility as the Chairman & Managing Director until further orders, as announced by the Chief Secretary to the Government, Santhi Kumari.
