Fantasy-Comedy ‘Comedy Goes Cosmic’ Begins at Annapurna Studios
Hyderabad, September 6, 2025 – Actor Allari Naresh, known for his impeccable comic timing, has officially launched his 65th film, tentatively titled #Naresh65, with a grand pooja ceremony at Annapurna Studios on Saturday.
The film, directed by Chandra Mohan and jointly produced by Annapurna Studios and Hasya Movies, promises to bring a refreshing mix of fantasy and comedy—a genre blend rarely attempted in Telugu cinema. The makers are promoting it with the tagline “Comedy Goes Cosmic,” hinting at a larger-than-life yet humorous narrative.
The launch ceremony was a star-studded affair. Actor Naga Chaitanya gave the first clap for the muhurat shot, while director Bobby switched on the camera. The honorary first shot was directed by VI Anand, and filmmakers Vassishta, Ram Abbaraju, and Vijay Kanakamedala handed over the script to the team. Notable guests included Harsh Shankar, Supriya Yarlagadda, Anil Sunkara, and Gemini Kiran, who extended their best wishes.
The film will feature a strong comic lineup with Vennela Kishore, Naresh VK, Srinivas Reddy, and Muralidhar Goud playing key roles alongside Allari Naresh. Industry sources say the project will showcase Naresh in a fresh comedic avatar after his recent experiments with offbeat roles.
On the technical front, Ram Reddy will handle cinematography, Chetan Bharadwaj will compose the music, Brahma Kadali is in charge of art direction, and Chota K. Prasad will oversee editing. The makers have assured that the film will be high on both production and technical values, promising a visually engaging cinematic experience.
Regular shooting of #Naresh65 will begin in the coming days. With its innovative theme and ensemble cast, the project is expected to be one of the most anticipated Telugu comedies of the year.
