In an amazing celestial event, five planets will be visible in the sky after sunset today. The planets will be aligned in a parallel line in the west, making for a breathtaking sight.
Of the five planets, three can be seen directly with the naked eye, including Jupiter, Venus, and Mars, which will appear a little brighter than usual. The other two planets, Uranus and Mercury, can be viewed with binoculars.
To see this phenomenon, viewers should look towards the west as soon as the sun sets. After half an hour, Mercury and Jupiter will move slightly below the horizontal line, making them harder to spot. However, if the sky is clear, they can be seen from anywhere on earth.
Mercury will be the lowest of all planets on the horizontal line, followed by Venus. Uranus will be visible below the moon, while Mars will appear above it. Jupiter will be visible above all other planets.
This is a rare event, and a similar alignment of planets will be seen in June of this year. Otherwise, the five planets will not be visible together very often. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness this stunning celestial display.
