Hyderabad, June 2, 2023 – The Telangana State Police, in celebration of the Telangana Rashtra Avatarana Dashabdi Utsavalu on June 4, 2023, will be observing the day as “Suraksha Dinotsavam” (Safety Day). Several events and activities have been organized as part of the celebrations, including a Patrol Cars/Blue Colts Rally, a Technology Exhibition at Ambedkar Statue, a Women Safety Carnival, and a Foot March to Charminar. Due to the expected large participation of visitors and increased vehicular movement, moderate traffic congestion is anticipated. To ensure uninterrupted commuting for the general public, certain traffic regulations will be implemented from 6 am to 11 pm.
A. PATROL CARS/BLUE COLTS RALLY FROM SANJEEVIAH PARK TO CHARMINAR AND RETURN
The rally will take place from 6 am to 12 pm and follow the route from Sanjeeviah Park to Charminar as described below:
Passing Junctions: Sanjeeviah Park – Budha Bhavan – Sailing Club – Childrens Park – Ambedkar Statue – Liberty – Basheerbagh – BJR Statue – Abids – MJ Market – SA Bazar – Afzalgunj – Nayapul – Madina – Pattargatti – Gulzar House – Charkaman – Charminar
Traffic halts will be implemented at specific junctions and lanes along the rally route. Please refer to the following table for the respective locations:

RETURN ROUTE FROM CHARMINAR TO SANJEEVIAH PARK:
Passing Junctions: Charminar – Gulzar House – Delhi Gate – Nayapul – Afzalgunj – SA Bazar – MJ Market – Taj Island – Nampally Rly Stn. – AR Petrol Pump – Ravindra Bharathi – Iqbal Minar – Telugu Thalli – NTR Marg – Rotary – Peoples Plaza – Sanjeevaiah Park.

B. TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION AT AMBEDKAR STATUE
As part of the celebrations, a technology exhibition will be held at the Ambedkar Statue. A street play on various themes, including traffic safety, anti-drug campaigns, cyber security, and women’s safety, will also be performed.
Parking places for visitors have been designated at the following locations:
- Necklace Road and Mint compound lane (Single line parking)
- NTR Ghat
- NTR Garden
- Race Course Road
C. TS WOMEN POLICE SAFETY WING CARNIVAL ON TANKBUND
From 4 pm to 9 pm, a carnival organized by the TS Women Police Safety Wing will take place on Tankbund. To facilitate the event, traffic diversions and restrictions will be implemented. The following routes will be diverted:
