Hyderabad, July 20,
In response to the ongoing heavy rains affecting various parts of Telangana, the state government has taken a proactive step to ensure the safety of students and staff. Education Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy announced that all educational institutions in the state will remain closed for two days.
The decision to declare holidays on Thursday and Friday was made considering the heavy rainfall and inundation of low-lying areas in the region. Hyderabad, the capital city, has also been experiencing continuous rains, causing disruptions to normal life.
With the meteorological department predicting further rainfall, the state government has put all concerned departments on high alert. The authorities have been instructed to take all necessary measures to prevent any loss of life and minimize the impact of the heavy rains on the residents of Telangana.
During this period, people are urged to exercise caution and stay updated with the latest weather advisories and safety instructions issued by the government to ensure their well-being.
