

Don Bosco School, with Outstanding Performance by Student K. Yagna sri, Emerges as Runner-Up in Table Tennis Finals Against Little Flower

In the inter-school tournament held from the 17th to the 20th of this month under the auspices of Rukmini Bai Sports Academy, K. Yagnasri and Rahmatunnisa secured the runner-up position in the table tennis category. In an electrifying final match between Don Bosco High School and Little Flower High School, Little Flower emerged victorious.
The final Little Flower took the first set 11-7, but Don Bosco responded with a hard-fought 13-11 victory in the second set. However, Little Flower regained their momentum, clinching the third and fourth sets with scores of 11-9 in both, ultimately securing the championship.


Yagnasri, a student from Don Bosco School, stood out throughout the tournament with her exceptional serves and smashing shots. Her outstanding performance had propelled Don Bosco into the finals. However, facing the formidable Little Flower team in the championship match proved to be a tough challenge, resulting in Little Flower’s victory. As a result, Don Bosco’s K. Yagnashree and Rahmatunnisa claimed the runner-up positions.
Expressing her thoughts on this achievement, Yagnasri stated, “This tournament marks a significant milestone for girls aspiring to excel in table tennis.”

The final match followed a best-of-five games format, with one set won by each team.
