ABP-C Voter Survey Reveals Congress Leading in Upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections

New Delhi, October 09

In anticipation of the Telangana Assembly elections scheduled for November 30, the ABP-C Voter survey has unveiled some intriguing insights into the electoral landscape. According to the C-Voter Opinion Polls, the Congress party is poised to secure the highest number of seats.

Telangana boasts 119 Assembly seats, and the C-Voter survey predicts that the Congress party could emerge victorious in a range of 48 to 60 seats. Simultaneously, it suggests that the BRS (presumably referring to another political party) may secure 43 to 55 seats. Additionally, the survey indicates that the BJP stands as the third contender in the Telangana elections, with a potential win of 5 to 11 seats.

Furthermore, the C-Voter survey divulges that the Congress party is likely to witness a 10.5 percent increase in its vote share for this election. The data illustrates that Congress holds a 39 percent share of the assembly election votes scheduled for next month, while BRS garners 37 percent. In a comparative analysis with the 2018 elections, BRS faces an anticipated 9.4 percent decrease in its vote share, while the BJP is expected to see a 9.3 percent increase.

These findings from the ABP-C Voter survey provide valuable insights into the evolving political landscape of Telangana as the state gears up for a pivotal electoral showdown.
