Mumbai, July 28: Pan-India star Prabhas, known for his recent appearance in ‘Adipurush,’ faced a Facebook account hack, prompting him to issue a statement via his Instagram Stories. The actor’s account has now been successfully restored after his team took corrective actions.
In his Instagram Story, Prabhas informed his followers about the compromise, stating, “Hello everyone, my Facebook page has been compromised. The team is sorting this out.” The hackers had posted inappropriate content on his page, captioned as “Humans Being Unlucky,” along with a viral video, which led to some internet users trolling the actor in the comments.
Prabhas’ team swiftly responded and retrieved his official account, removing the offending posts and comments. The actor, who is not very active on social media, primarily uses his page to share content related to his films and extend good wishes to his co-stars.
On the film front, Prabhas has ‘Kalki 2898 AD Part 1’ slated for release on January 12, 2024. The movie garnered attention with its grand reveal at the San Diego Comic-Con International, where its poster was also showcased at the iconic Times Square in New York. Directed by National Award winner Nag Ashwin, the multilingual sci-fi film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
